Vardenafil

Vardenafil is a pill for erections. It’s a lot like Levitra, only not branded.

With EveAdam you can buy Vardenafil online from a UK pharmacy and get it shipped to your door, regularly on subscription.

Like Levitra, but generic. Buy Vardenafil online.

Vardenafil is a generic pill for erectile dysfunction. It’s the non-branded (read: cheaper) version of Levitra. It’s chemically the same, so does the same job in the body.

The main difference is that it isn’t made by Bayer like Levitra is. And the pills may look different as well. But it shouldn’t be any less effective at sorting out erections.

Help with ED is at hand. Specifically, right behind the start consultation button. Hitting this button will take you through our simple online consultation, where you can answer a few questions from our prescriber. You’ll get recommendations based on your medical profile, so you can choose your preferred treatment and how often you want it. A prescription will then be generated for you and dispensed by our UK pharmacy.

You’ll get your first lot of treatment in one working day, and repeat deliveries however often you like. And you can skip a delivery, change or even cancel your plan whenever you need to.

What is Vardenafil?

A generic alternative to Levitra. It’s the same pill on the inside, with the same active ingredient. But it’s different on the outside. As in the box won’t be the same and the pill may have a different look about it.

So all in all, it shouldn’t be any better or worse at treating ED than the branded version.

It works by improving blood flow to the penis. To explain this a bit better, we need to switch to biology teacher mode.

So erections happen when you become aroused, because your brain sends a signal to your blood vessels near your penis. This signal tells these blood vessels to relax, which lets blood course through them, into the penis. There’s a ‘cavern’ inside your penis, and when blood fills it up, that’s when you get hard.

ED happens when circulation isn’t so great, or these signals become interrupted. If the blood vessels stay tight, it stops blood getting through. The result is either an erection that won’t stay up, or you can’t get an erection.

There’s an enzyme in your body that tells blood vessels to shut up shop. Vardenafil blocks this enzyme, so blood vessels open up more, and let blood through to your penis. Hey presto: erection.

What dosages does Vardenafil come in?

Same as the branded Levitra dosages. So 5mg, 10mg and 20mg. There’s an orodispersible (translated: melts on the tongue) tablet too, which is 10mg. You’ll normally start on Vardenafil 10mg tablets if you’re otherwise healthy. If this doesn’t do the trick – for example, you get an erection that doesn’t last very long or isn’t quite hard enough – your prescriber might see how you do on Vardenafil 20mg tablets.  Men who get mild side effects on 10mg, but find it works well otherwise, might be lowered to the Vardenafil 5mg dose.

How long does it take Vardenafil to work?

Between 25 and 60 minutes normally. So you’re better off taking it an hour before the show starts, to make sure it’s had enough time to work. Once you’ve taken it, it stays active for up to four or five hours. So you can take your time with sex, and don’t need to race through the motions.

There are some things that can affect how long it takes to work, like eating a heavy meal. Eating lighter will help the drug to work in the normal time window (and let’s face it, sex on an overfull stomach isn’t ideal anyway).

What are Vardenafil tablets used for?

Vardenafil is prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction, or ED. This is when someone can’t get an erection, or keep an erection long enough to engage in sexual intercourse. ED can be caused by a variety of physical and psychological factors, be it stress, anxiety, diabetes or high blood pressure.

If you have erection problems, it’s always best to see a clinician just in case it’s a sign of an underlying health issue.

Common side effects tend to be mild and go away on their own after a couple of uses. But let your prescriber know if you get any side effects that persist or prove troublesome. Adjusting your dose with their help may resolve the problem.

Headaches, blocked nose, dizziness, digestive issues and flushing are among the most common reported side effects with Vardenafil.

What’s the difference between Levitra and Vardenafil?

Levitra is a branded treatment while Vardenafil is a generic. So the same drug, but different manufacturers and packaging. Bayer has the sole rights to make Levitra, but other labs are able to make Vardenafil.

There shouldn’t be any difference in how they work. But Vardenafil prices are normally lower than Levitra, because it’s a non-branded version of the treatment.

Vardenafil interactions

In order for your prescribing clinician to offer this treatment safely they’ll need to know about any other medications you’re currently or have recently taken, including over the counter medicines or supplements.

You should not take Vardenafil at the same time as any other type of erectile dysfunction medication, or riociguat, a treatment for hypertension.

It’s also very important for your prescriber to know if you’re using: nitrates, including angina medications, nitric oxide donors and amyl nitrate, which can all affect blood pressure levels; arrhythmia medications; HIV treatments; antifungals; macrolide antibiotics; and alpha blockers.
